Geraldine Nusbaum has been in real estate sales for more than 30 years. Prior to joining Brown Harris Stevens, she worked initially with Shamrock Realty in Stamford and then Juner Properties. She has also simultaneously managed an executive suites operation in Stamford, overseeing rentals, leases, and staff of a 63-office complex and frequently assisted the tenants in renting, purchasing, and selling their personal properties. Prior to moving to the United States, she worked in Dublin, Ireland, the Middle East (advertising and marketing), and London (real estate and research).
As Geraldine is gregarious by nature and has traveled and lived in a number of other countries, she can easily find common ground with people from diverse cultures and help them to negotiate through the difficulties of renting, purchasing, or selling in Fairfield County. Many of her clients have become close personal friends over the years and a great source of referrals.
As her philosophy is to always deal ethically and patiently with her clients, Geraldine believes she has developed a reputation of fairness and honesty over the years, and she feels she can bring these assets to new clients.
Geraldine has lived in the United States for 33 years. She has four children, ranging in age from 28 to 34—three girls and one boy—all of whom received an excellent education in the Stamford Public School System. She has two grandchildren.
Born and educated in Ireland, where she still returns frequently, Geraldine’s hobbies are reading, music, traveling, and studying. She received an Associate Degree at Norwalk Community College and completed her education with a B.A. Honors in English, summa cum laude (Designated Honors Scholar) from the University of Connecticut in 2000. She also enjoys completing items on her personal bucket list—most of which involve travel and adventure. Geraldine trekked to the top of Kilimanjaro a few years ago and is working her way through all the European capitals. Next summer, she hopes to walk a portion of the El Camino trail—from Portugal to northern Spain.
