I am nearly a Florida native, having moved to Florida with my family in 1971 from Belleville, Illinois after my father retired from a 30-year career in the Air Force. When the time came to decide on my college of choice the obvious choice was The University of Florida where I graduated with a BSBA, majoring in Real Estate and Urban Analysis. Yes, real estate, in some form or fashion, has been a part of my life for over 35 years!
After 16 years in the title insurance industry, where I managed offices from Pensacola to Naples and Jacksonville to Key West, I made a career move to the sales side of the business. I have been a Florida Real Estate Broker since 1999, earning the designations of Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) - the highest credential awarded to residential sales agents, Graduate ofRealtorInstitute (GRI), Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR), Certified Distressed Property Expert (CDPE)
for short sales, and Real Estate Owned Specialist (REOS) for foreclosures, as well as having been recognized as a Five Star Award Professional for the past several years. I specialize in working with both sellers and buyers for both new construction and resales in waterfront, golf course, and planned communities in Southwest Florida.
I understand the importance of having a trusted real estate professional, one who has "seen it all", from the great ride in the early 2000s to the mind-numbing lows of the crash in 2007 through 2011, to the steady rise of the market to where it’s been in the last four years since the pandemic. It takes perseverance, commitment, determination, compassion, and well-honed negotiation skills to succeed in this industry, which I have done for almost 25 years. I have many clients who have become friends, and I cherish their continued referrals to me as their trusted source for real estate information.
I also recognize the need to give back, to pay forward as a celebration of success, which is why I have been a volunteer for the American Heart Association's Heart Ball for many years, as well as having volunteered for Ronald McDonald House Charities in years past. I also support children's charities and several animal rescues, both in Florida and in other parts of the U.S
My two great-loves are my family and the Florida Gators! I attend as many Florida Gator football games as possible and am an avid sports fan. My additional hobbies include cooking, traveling, relaxing at the beach, learning pickleball, and visiting wineries! I am a mom to two adorable rescue pups and an aunt to two beautiful nieces. I am devoted to providing outstanding customer service and giving 110%, whether for work or play! From cottages to castles and sea to tee, it would be my honor and pleasure to serve YOU!
