About Glenn

Born and raised in the heart of Central Florida, Glenn Offutt brings a lifelong connection to the communities he serves. After graduating from the University of Central Florida in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management, Glenn began his career with a strong foundation in service, communication, and client care. He also spent time in law enforcement, further shaping his discipline, leadership, and commitment to the people around him.

Glenn entered the real estate industry in late 2003 and quickly discovered a passion for guiding individuals and families through some of life’s most important decisions. By 2007, he earned his broker’s license—an achievement that opened the door to deeper responsibility and broader market leadership. Over the years, Glenn has worked with both major national franchises and independent brokerages, gaining insight into different structures, systems, and client-service philosophies.

That experience led Glenn to one clear conclusion: there was a better way to serve the people of Polk County and Central Florida. In 2019, that vision came to life with the founding of Lakeland Hometown Properties—a truly local brokerage built on relationships, integrity, market expertise, and community-focused values. Today, Glenn leads a team that prides itself on offering personalized service grounded in professionalism and local knowledge.

In honor of his law-enforcement background, Glenn and his team proudly offer the Heroes in Our Hometown Savings Program, giving back a portion of qualifying closings to first responders and other community heroes. This initiative reflects the heart behind the brokerage: serving those who serve the community.
