After growing up in a small town north of New York City, I headed west and never looked back. I graduated from the University of Hawaii with a degree in psychology and with teaching certifications in elementary education, emphasizing early childhood education and learning disability remediation. After graduating, I worked as a teacher in Hawaii for seven years. From the beautiful Pacific Ocean of Hawaii I headed to the spectacular mountains of Colorado. This move introduced me to my second career of business management in which I operated as the General Manager for several major restaurants along the Front Range. It was in this industry that I became a "foodie" and discovered a talent for gourmet cooking.
Always seeking challenges, I obtained a paralegal certification where my studies of real estate law and contracts led me to become a real estate broker. My wife, Diane Alexander, and I moved from Denver to Buena Vista, Colorado on Valentine's Day 1994.
I have been helping sellers and buyers with their real estate needs in Buena Vista for over 25 years now. "I pride myself on providing personal, professional real estate services. I have received the following real estate designations: MRE, Master of Real Estate; GRI, Graduate Realtor Institute; SRS, Seller Representative Specialist; CRB, Certified Residential Brokerage Manager, MCNE, Master Certified Negotiating Expert and the RSPS, Resort & Second-Home Property Specialist.
