About Gordon

After growing up in a small town north of New York City, I headed west and never looked back. I graduated from the University of Hawaii with a degree in psychology and with teaching certifications in elementary education, emphasizing early childhood education and learning disability remediation. After graduating, I worked as a teacher in Hawaii for seven years. From the beautiful Pacific Ocean of Hawaii I headed to the spectacular mountains of Colorado. This move introduced me to my second career of business management in which I operated as the General Manager for several major restaurants along the Front Range. It was in this industry that I became a "foodie" and discovered a talent for gourmet cooking.

Always seeking challenges, I obtained a paralegal certification where my studies of real estate law and contracts led me to become a real estate broker. My wife, Diane Alexander, and I moved from Denver to Buena Vista, Colorado on Valentine's Day 1994.

I have been helping sellers and buyers with their real estate needs in Buena Vista for over 25 years now. "I pride myself on providing personal, professional real estate services. My job is to make sure each client receives my best effort every day. My goal is to make your real estate experience with me pleasant and stress-free."

I know the only way to stay current in this industry is to make continuing education a priority. I have received the following real estate designations: MRE, Master of Real Estate; GRI, Graduate Realtor Institute; SRS, Seller Representative Specialist; CRB, Certified Residential Brokerage Manager, MCNE, Master Certified Negotiating Expert and the RSPS, Resort & Second-Home Property Specialist.
