About Gordon

Gordon Sorensen was born and raised in Cedar Falls and is a graduate of Cedar Falls High School and the University of Northern Iowa. He is truly a lifelong community member of Cedar Valley.

Gordie started his career in construction and development and then gradually moved to real estate starting in 2008. He has had an interest in new construction for decades and has built many homes throughout the Cedar Valley for both him and others. Gordie personally works with several contractors, investors, and homebuyers to provide you with the best service possible.

Being a lifelong learner is a focus of his. Gordie makes it a point to, individually or with our real estate team, regularly attend courses and conventions to continuously grow and strengthen his skills as a real estate professional. He believes all real estate agents need to continue their education throughout their careers to stay on the cutting edge.

Gordie enjoys spending time with his wife and our four children who live locally as well as across the country. This gives us a great opportunity to travel and explore the United States and beyond! His wife and he take time during the warm summer and fall months to camp in Iowa as well as the neighboring states. While they enjoy traveling and exploring new places, they always look forward to coming home to Cedar Valley.

Gordie is currently and has in the past been involved in many different ways in the community. He currently serves on the Executive Committee for the Cedar Falls Lions Club, is Secretary of his church council, and serves on the Board of Directors for Cedar Falls Community Credit Union.
