About Gordon

Gordon was first licensed in 1976 as a Realtor Associate in Maui, Hawaii. He received his Broker’s license in 1978 and was promoted to Branch Manager of Pali Kai Realtors in Kihei at that time. In 1981 he formed Maui Island Real Estate with his wife Barbara and was a consistent top producer. He was elected President of the Maui Board of Realtors in 1987 and was twice elected a Director of the Hawaii Association of Realtors. Other honors included being named “Realtor of the Year” and “Educator of the Year” from the Maui Board. During his tenure he ascended to Senior Instructor status and taught several different courses in the National Association of Realtors GRI series and Continuing Education topics for the Hawaii Real Estate Commission. Gordon has received his Certified Real Estate Broker (CRB) designation from the National Association of Realtors and also holds the coveted Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation from the National Association, called the “Phd. of Commercial Real Estate”. He is the only Realtor to hold this designation in the Tri-County area. Gordon became a Broker Associate with O’Brien Realty in Southern Maryland in 2000 and continues to specialize in the sales, leasing, and management of commercial real estate.
