Guy Carson

Guy Carson is a twenty-five year veteran of the nightlife, bar and restaurant industry in San Francisco. Guy has a deep love for deal-making, a keen eye for value, and a vigorous, no-nonsense work ethic. He also brings to Urban Group a rich network of professional relationships and a good understanding of the inner-workings of City Hall.

Guy built his career as co-owner and manager of the iconic and beloved San Francisco entertainment venues Café du Nord, the Swedish American Hall and the Hotel Utah Saloon. Since selling his business in 2014, Guy has been consulting in the nightlife industry, assisting clients in launching new ventures, remodeling and re-branding struggling businesses, and preparing others for closure and sale.

As a founding member of the California Music and Culture Association, Guy has spent years advocating for reasonable laws that govern the nightlife industry. Guy utilizes his passion and know how to help buyers, sellers, lessors and lessees navigate the complexities and nuances of the San Francisco retail marketplace and the governing bodies that regulate it.
