Originally from a large farming family in Lubbock, Hacee made the move to Honolulu, Hawaii to attend High School and College.

After completing her BA from the University of Hawaii, she organized and managed one of the largest beach rental services on Oahu. Coordinating corporate, nonprofit, and private military and civilian events on Waikiki beach at Fort DeRussy.

She then moved to Chicago, Illinois, where, in an unexpected but exciting career change, she found herself working for one of Chicago's top florist and event planners. Not only did she get to have her hands in many of Chicago's most beautiful events, in the process, she was introduced to whole new world of spacial recognition and creativity. The company provided services for events and shows at Harpo Studios, as well as providing personal floral arrangements for the one and only Oprah Winfrey.

Making the move into a career in real estate has long seemed like the right choice for Hacee. With a desire to be closer to family, she made the move back to Lubbock. She is extremely active in numerous Lubbock associations, including:
