When we needed help purchasing a new home for a cross-country move, Hannelore was our brilliant pick. After many decades of living in San Francisco, Hannelore guided us through a journey that was foreign to us. She knew the A+ areas, what we needed to avoid and how important a septic inspection was! When we couldn't be there in person, she drove to homes to take copious videos, ensuring we wouldn't miss out on an opportunity. She also took whole weekends from her schedule to accommodate dates we would be in town. I believe in one day she showed us 8 homes just to help us calibrate. What's also wonderful about Hannelore is her stellar reputation and extensive network. She doesn't just help with your home, she connects you to all the right folks along the way. When you say Hannelore referred you, doors just open! She is so respected and it's well-deserved. We recommend her with utter confidence. The best in the biz.

My family met with Hannalore when we needed help buying a home in the most difficult post-pandemic market. Hannalore brought an impressive amount of knowledge and experience. She gave us tips to make our offers competitive and helped us stand out among many other buyers. Her knowledge of the area and details of streets and specific homes saved us a lot of time. Hannelore knows the New Canaan market inside and out and priced my home in the sweet spot - she got an excellent sale price AND the property sold very quickly. Also, her staff includes a very talented designer who helped me with preparing the house to photograph and show. She negotiated well when issues arose, with a keen sense of when to push back and when to agree to buyer requests. All in all a great experience.

I've bought and sold 6 times and Hannelore Kaplan is the best broker I've ever come across. She's smart, honest and is tireless in getting your place sold. She also makes you feel as if your home is her top priority. I really can't say enough good things about Hannelore. She's one of the most successful brokers in Ct and I learned why after having the good fortune of her managing the sale of our home. She's also great to work with as a personality - not pushy but at the same time tenacious in doing what it takes, a rare combination. Very calm and rationale under the pressures of the sale. We recently purchased a home in North Stamford with the wonderful support of our agent Kathleen Usherwood. We can not say enough good things about our experience working with her.
I called Hannelore Kaplan, after reading excellent reviews about her, as we were moving from Westchester To Connecticut and wanted to explore several areas. After seeing some homes for rent with Hannelore she introduced us to Kathleen, who is a member of her team.
Kathleen was incredible to work with. In addition to her knowledge of various areas, abounding energy, enormous patience, and unending energy to make things happen, Kathleen was super fun and game to explore with us. She did really good edits of options we should and should not see. Once we found something Kathleen worked tirelessly to get a deal done, and she went above and beyond connecting us to resources that would help us determine how we should move forward. All somehow never being pushy or bothered by our questions, doubts, waffling and anxiety!
We were so impressed with Kathleen, and enjoyed every interaction, if we ever decide to sell our home she would be the first person we’d call. The whole team is stellar.
