I was out of the country when we got an offer on our home. By the time I returned, a week later, Harold had everything in place for inspections, meetings, walk-throughs, communication with buyers. This was critical as the potential owners wanted to take possession in 45 days if everything checked out. It was a whirlwind, and he was with us through every step of the way. I met Harold when he walked into my job and his smile lit up the place!! So it was no surprise to find out that he was a warm & friendly person who was easy to talk to. I mentioned that I had just moved to SBY from NJ & that my rent was so high, I was thinking about buying a house. He told me he was a realtor and gave me his card & his assurance that he could indeed help me find the right house for me. Months later, I contacted him & despite my income challenges, my high anxiety & total lack of knowledge of real estate, he & his associates went right to work & found properties that I could realistically could afford. He never tried to "upsell me" with pie in the sky dream houses I could never afford.... he focused on MY SPECIFIC NEEDS & my financial situation & after a month or so, we found the PERFECT HOME FOR ME! He then had me work with an amazing woman at Mortgage Network & in less than 2 months, I was going to settlement. At all times, they made certain that I had a complete understanding of each & every step in the process & they were available for me whether I had questions, concerns or just feeling overwhelmed. Always positive, energetic & willing to go that extra mile, his goal was to ensure that what I wanted & needed became a reality!! He had an open door policy where I could just come in, sit down, have a cup of tea & ask stupid questions that I had already asked many times, & he would always make me feel welcome & VALUED. It was always obvious that finding a home that I could afford, where I would be happy, was his main focus. When it was all over, they did not just disappear, they celebrated me & my new home & continue to be available anytime I need them!! Thank you Harold Cyr-Townsend & the staff at Coldwell Realty for a wonderful home buying experience!! I truly believe that HE is the reason I am now living in my beautiful new forever home.
