About Heather

I moved to the Methow Valley in 2007 for love of nature and the beauty of this unique place. A Lehigh University (PA) graduate, I came to Washington in 1999 with the Army as a Signal officer. My military career ended with a deployment to Iraq in 2002 in support of the 101st Airborne Division. I loved Washington so much by that point- I decided to call it home. A few years later I moved east over the mountains, and I have never looked back!

I can honestly say that I gain a deeper appreciation of this valley every year that passes. There is no place like it on the planet. As more people move here, more businesses open up, more infrastructure is established- the community continues to be enhanced.

Hiking, gardening, and cross country skiing are my main outdoor loves. I know the Methow Trail system very well and am happy to answer your questions. In addition to being a business owner, I am a mom and community volunteer. Being part of the solution is important to me. You can change your community one kind and conscientious act at a time.
