Let's see if I'm able to keep this brief - before making the move out of state to the Columbia, SC area I wanted to make sure that I had a solid and reliable real estate agent lined up so I could make good use of my time on my first visits down to the area. This was easier said than done - contact with these first agents was so inconsistent and I didn't feel like a priority.

Enter Heather Williams. After our second or third conversation I could tell she genuinely wanted to help me find - not just a home - but the right home for me. We were in constant communication leading up to my first flight down. I would send her homes and based on my preferences, needs and wants she would provide me feedback and send lists of homes she found that checked my boxes.

As soon as I arrived Heather was ready with a full day (and I mean FULL) of houses lined up for us to tour. We toured houses for days and returned to ones that stuck out prior to sending in offers. Heather was incredibly helpful with the entire process as this was my first time buying a house all on my own. I never once felt like I was being given bad information or that her interest was in anything other than my happiness and satisfaction at the end of the day.

When my offers weren't accepted I could tell Heather felt the same disappointment that I did. When I was being a little hasty in a decision regarding a house she was 100% in on having a conversation about the decision and examining it inside and out. Truthfully Heather is probably 2 parts agent and 1 part therapist as she helped keep me grounded through this absolutely crazy market.

Before I go and make this any longer - the bottom line is Heather was with me every step of the way and because of her I ultimately ended up with "The One" - as I like to call it. Her patience, persistence and genuine dedication to my journey landed me exactly what I wanted and I could not be happier than I am today. And the true bonus to all of this is that I made my first friend in the Columbia, SC area - Heather Williams.

Heather was AMAZING! This market is absolutely nuts and she was on her game! If there was a house we wanted to see, she made it work every time. She helped advise us (first time home buyers) on how we could phrase an offer to make it more appealing. She was willing to speak up when she thought a house was not going to appraise and we might end up in a bad financial situation. She really took care of us and made sure we ended up with an amazing home. It was obvious that she is in it for making people happy, not just for money. Also trust her recommendations on inspections, lenders, etc. 1000% would recommend. She has such a fun personality too. We absolutely loved working with her.

Having Heather's GREAT help in walking my wife and I through three different real estate transactions in the past three years was an excellent experience! Through the purchase of two properties, and then the sale of our primary home, she was invaluable in making sure all three transactions stayed on track and that everything was in order for closings! Very responsive and comforting when questions or concerns arose and showed tremendous concern for us as buyer and seller on the different transactions. Will definitely be contacting her again with any real estate plans or opportunities that may arise!

Heather and the team at Paul Properties were fantastic. We are a large military family moving from overseas. We reached out early for help, and they were happy to oblige. Heather did an amazing job as our realtor. We are first time buyers and we always felt that we were in good hands. She responded to our texts and calls immediately every time. When we found a house that we liked she worked hard for us handling the inspections and getting quotes for repairs. We have kids and were not able to be at the house for every appointment, but Heather was there and relayed the information to us very well. She even went the extra mile to get multiple quotes from different companies when we were feeling wary of the first company. She was also a great guide for us while deciding what we wanted to negotiate with the sellers. In the end we bought a beautiful house that is perfect for us.
