My wife and I were living in Philadelphia and looking to buy our first home for the last 2 years. It was a difficult and challenging process not to mention trying to do it during a pandemic added even more barriers and challenges. However, working with Rob and Helen made the whole process super enjoyable. Both my wife and I work jobs that don’t allow for much flexibility to leave during the day or handle personal business, but Rob and Helen were able to easily work around our schedule and maintain constant contact and updates on offers and showings while we worked.

Due to social distancing protocols open houses were not happening during the time we were looking and we thought it would make trying to see homes impossible. Instead, Rob helped to schedule showings around our work schedule so it was just us in the homes. Since we were first time home buyers Rob would also constantly inform us about any issues or concerns he had with the properties so we understood exactly how much work we were in for with each home and how much extra money we would spend after purchasing. The experience felt like we were buying a home with the insights of a renovation expert, which again was amazing since we both had very little experience with renovating any home before. When it came time to make any offers we would always ask for suggestions and were always advised by Rob an amount he thought would be a good bid, but he also reminded us constantly to do what worked for us in our budget. Buying a home is an extremely expensive endeavor and I was worried we would pay too much for a less then ideal property. Never once were we pressured to offer more then we could, and even on one occasion we suggested a very high offer that Rob said would probably not be the best option, and we are so glad we listened to him.

After about 2 months of searching we found our dream home and have been so happy with our choice in home and realtor team. Rob and Helen are the best at what they do and if you are looking to be well informed and enjoy the home buying experience it would be a mistake to not go with them.

Helen and Rob were incredible to work with during what can be a very exciting BUT stressful process! They both were extremely responsive and so helpful in educating my husband and I about the area/neighborhoods. Helen & Rob Kowalchik were so helpful during the sale of our house. I felt like we could trust and depend on them during the whole process. Not only are they are knowledgeable and professional, they are extremely personable and I felt comfortable asking them anything. I've bought and sold a few properties in the past, and never have a felt at ease with either process- but this time was lightyears better. I shopped around before I settled on a real estate agent this time, and I'm really glad I took my time. I think the Kowalchiks are the best around by a landslide.

10 out of 10 would HIGHLY recommend Helen and Rob when looking for a home!

I had no idea what I was doing and they went above and beyond to help me and answer all of my questions. They made me feel comfortable and guided me through the whole process.
I would recommend them to anyone I know and will definitely work with them again in the future!

Rob Kowalchik helped us find and purchase our home 6 years ago. He handles all of our rentals.
