As a full-time Realtor, I take pride in my career and will work relentlessly to find your dream home or get your property sold for the highest price, with the least amount of stress and in the shortest amount of time. Over my 36 year career, I have had the opportunity to work in various aspects of a real estate transaction from contract to closing. When newly licensed in 1989, I worked as a personal assistant to a real estate broker. This is where I learned the business. In 2001, I earned my broker license and then continued my education as a Graduate of the Realtors Institute (GRI). I served as our team marketing expert, buyer agent, selling agent and managed a multi-million-dollar real estate firm with my husband. In addition, we owned a well-known franchise, a boutique real estate office, and a title company.
I consider myself a life-long learner and continuing education allows me to represent clients by providing them with the knowledge and expertise necessary to ensure a smooth transaction. In 2016, I took some time off as a single parent to raise my son and worked in the education field as a teacher and instructional specialist for a local school district. At that time, I attained a master's degree in educational leadership. Within the past year, I earned the ABR (Accredited Buyer Representative) designation along with a PSA (Pricing Strategy Advisor) certification. Prior to that I received the (CIPS) Certified International Property Specialist designation, where I network with real estate agents throughout the world, thus exposing seller’s properties to buyers worldwide.
I am the proud mother of two men, John, who is a major in the USAF, and James who is pursuing a career in computer information systems. John and his wife Jessica, blessed me with two wonderful grandsons, Leo and Ronan.
After 25 years bolding the cold New York winters, it was obvious, Sarasota was where I belong. In 1988, I made the move to the Pasco/Pinellas county areas and migrated down to the Sarasota area in 2001 after falling in love with the numerous golf course, stunning beaches and boating communities. In my spare time, I enjoy playing word games, exercising and walking my Alaskan Malamute, Zeus. Giving back to the community is one of my priorities with children's organizations at the top of my list!
