Helene Salerno

Born in Paris, Helene Salerno is of Portuguese and French descent and has
lived in France, Portugal, Germany, Madrid, Rome, and New York, to name a few. She is as international as William Pitt Sotheby’s International Realty brand itself. Helene finds herself at home with Denise Walsh Partners real estate firm. Here she has the ability to not only help her Fairfield County neighbors buy and sell properties but also clientele from all over the world looking to sell in places such as Paris where she is able to reach out to colleagues from the Champs-Elysees’ office.

Helene is known by her peers and clients as an avid world traveler and an avid real estate connoisseur with inside knowledge of the industry, the market, and history. Her endless market research ensures her clients receive the best customer care and up-to-date market advice. She thrives upon the challenge of finding each customer their ideal home or investment. Her love of real estate, personal and multicultural style set her apart from the rest.

Prior to joining William Pitt Sotheby’s, Helene was a top certified French teacher at the French Institute Alliance Française and Marymount School of New York in Manhattan and Saint Thomas Aquinas School in Fairfield, Ct. She began her real estate career thirty years ago as a twenty years old guiding connoisseur of fine living to purchase, sell or invest in a few estates, chateaux, and vineyards in Provence, France. As her interest in real estate grew she secured a position as a liaison between French diplomats, affluent clientele, and “ Just France”; a real estate company offering superior and luxury properties in France.

Helene and her husband Dr. John Salerno, their 12 years old daughter Sophia and sixteen years old John Jr. live in Fairfield. Together they share a philanthropic passion to help grow their community. They have organized bike tours for children to bring relief funds to victims of Fukushima in Japan. As a family, they are avid bikers and have embarked themselves to many 5 Borough Bike tours to support the Alzheimer’s Foundation. Helene has enjoyed and endorsed School- to School International which is a non-profit organization delivering educational support for children in developing countries. Furthermore together with her husband; Dr. Salerno created a Building Company: New Generation Healthy Homes which as a boutique Building entity emphasizes the importance of healthier building choices and Green Designing for the Home.

Helene received a BS in Foreign Language from Université of Paris IV and graduated from Norwalk College and Fairfield Sacred Heart. She is also certified by ACTFL(American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages) and by FIAF ( French Institute Alliance Française).
