I knew that I wanted to be a real estate agent from the time I purchased my first home. My agent was a dual agent, representing both the buyer and seller. By the time the deal was done, I knew things had not gone well. I never felt that the agent was representing my best interest. This motivated me to pursue my passion of real estate and provide a better experience for my own clients.

After spending 15 years in management in the manufacturing business, I was ready to put my people skills to work in a new industry – real estate. I am an exuberant and friendly military spouse who enjoys meeting new people. “I love connecting with people. I love hearing their stories; everyone has a different story.”

One of my real estate specialties is military relocation. Being a military spouse myself, I am well aware of all the issues involved in a military move. I am here to make sure my clients feel they have someone who understands the details they are facing in their military PCS. I can help with either the sale of a home as you leave this area, or help you find the perfect home if you are relocating to this area soon. I also specialize in contract negotiation and buyer representation.

One of my defining personal beliefs is servanthood. “I am here to serve my clients, and I’m very loyal. You’re not going to find an agent who will be more loyal.” Serving runs in the family. I am married to Dale who has served in the Navy for 19 years. Family is very important to us. We have 2 children, Danielle 16 and Zachary 15. We also have a 70-pound Pitbull named Mocha, who is totally our third child.

Mocha is named for another love of mine – coffee. I enjoy meeting with clients at a local coffee shop called Gather in Chesapeake. I wouldn’t dream of starting a day without a steaming cup of java.

I was born and raised in Boonville, NC near Greensboro with 2 brothers and a sister. I may be a transplant to Hampton Roads, but have fallen in love with it and made it my home.
