Hillary Murphy

Since joining Village in 2014, Hillary has helped hundreds of clients buy and sell homes. Prior to real estate, Hillary spent 13 years in various roles leading Communications and Public Relations programs for technology start-ups and Fortune 500 companies in New York and San Francisco. She holds a degree in Economics from UC Santa Barbara and studied Economics & Management at Oxford University in England.

In 2009, Hillary and her husband Brian moved from San Francisco to Orinda where Brian was raised. They now have two children, ages 11 and 7 attending Orinda schools, and have established deep roots in Lamorinda through involvement in youth sports, the Del Rey Parent’s Club, Moraga Country Club and other groups and activities.

Hillary’s experience raising young children in the East Bay is invaluable to many buyers who move here with children. She understands that relocating a young family involves much more than a house; it also means re-establishing a network of activities, babysitters, teachers, and doctors and more. She enjoys helping clients make those connections, in addition to finding their next home.

Hillary grew up in Sonoma County’s beautiful wine country where she still loves to visit.
