Hiroko was born in Matsumoto-shi, Nagano-ken, Japan. She immigrated to United States, upon passing an English Entrance Exam at US Embassy in Japan.

Hiroko graduated from University of Utah, with BS in Medical Technology/Microbiology. She started working at Kaiser Permanente Hospital in West Los Angeles and did so for 25 years. She then obtained a real estate license to buy her own home and liked the experience so much that she switched from a full time job at the hospital lab to a part time job to accommodate a full time job In real estate, where she has worked now for over 35 years with her own brokerage in South Bay area of Los Angeles.
