What started out as a fantasy has become a reality X 3!

My wife and I visited Maui in Feb 2019, it was our 3rd trip to the island and after all kinds of dreaming and discussion, we made a promise to ourselves to eventually make Maui our home.

We set forth on an adventure to purchase a condo in Kihei. We live in Portland, Oregon and the logistics seemed impossible. Where do we even begin?

We saw Howard Dinits' ad and called him up. He was so friendly and knowledgeable. He helped answer our millions of questions and helped us understand the properties available and the pros/cons of each. He held our hand while we made a spreadsheet of properties and toiled with decisions (we really did have a crazy detailed spreadsheet of amenities). He spent the time on the phone with us as we mulled over the smallest of details. Then when the time came to make an offer he made it easy. All the documents were sent thru email; just sign and send.

He helped us understand all the steps, was in constant communication with the seller's agent and was quick to set up inspections, bug reports, etc. He worked with our lender to make sure all necessary info for financing was promptly managed. There was a lot of behind the scenes stuff we were not bothered with and when we became anxious about certain steps he calmed us down with his confidence and positive attitude.

When the deed was transferred he recommended a property management company and even hand delivered the keys to them. He had referrals for a handyman, made friends with our new neighbors, and just a generally nice guy.

So, the process was so smooth that we just completed the purchase of a second condo rental home. Our rentals will be lived in and loved, collecting equity and waiting for us in 10 years when were ready to leave the mainland and enjoy island life.

Honestly, I can't say enough good things about Howard. If you see a future island paradise home in your future, make it happen with Dinits Reality. Make your dream a reality too.

Howard is simply the best!!! He helped me purchase my first home about 7 years ago. I had no experience in real estate so I sent messages to a bunch of different realtors. Howard was the only one of those realtors who talked to me in a way so that I could understand what was going on. So when the opportunity came me to relocate to the Big Island for work, there was no question in my mind as to who I would ask to represent me now as a homeowner looking to sell my property. It is my pleasure to recommend Howard Dinits as a real estate agent. He helped me locate a place that suited my needs and budget perfectly. He knows the market on Maui and located the listings that met my parameters quickly.
Howard is an excellent communicator. He reviewed the terms of the sale so I understood details such as the HOA fees, taxes and condition of the unit so I could make the right decision. He is a talented negotiater and put together an agreement that worked for both me and the seller.
I was purchasing a lower priced unit and Howard gave me the same service as a client buying a high end home. He even referred me to a lender, insurance agent and home inspector. Howard was on-site to walk through the condo with the inspector as I wasn’t on the island at the time. When it came time to sign the closing papers Howard sat at the table with me to make sure they were in order and helped me understand them.
I highly recommend Howard Dinits to anyone looking to purchase real estate. He is the best agent you'll find. Howard treated me as if I was his only client. He returned phone calls and emails promptly. He is very personable and you will enjoy working with him.
If I ever need to sell or buy real estate on Maui he will be my first choice for an agent!
