Howard has personally owned and led successful real estate brokerages for the past seventeen plus years, personally selling thousands of homes and closing over a billion dollars in real estate, making him an invaluable asset to clients and agents alike.
Howard’s breadth of experience includes working with local and international clients, representing several prominent South Florida developments, and representing institutional REO investors. Howard has served the real estate industry as President of Greater Fort Lauderdale Realtors, National Association of Realtors Director and District Vice President for Florida Association of Realtors.
A South Florida resident for more than three decades Howard was also appointed to and has taken leadership roles on the City of Fort Lauderdale Planning and Zoning Board, Code Enforcement Board, Nuisance Abatement Board, Broward Housing Council and currently serves on the executive board of Riverwalk Trust, City of Fort Lauderdale Board of Adjustment and several other volunteer boards.
Originally from Philadelphia, PA, Howard began his sales career at the age of 19, traveling a five-state territory while attending Pennsylvania State University. In 1989, he moved to Fort Lauderdale and entered the software business, selling to Fortune 500 and mid-sized companies throughout the country. As an avid real estate investor, Howard launched his full-time real estate career in 1989. After the sale of his successful Weichert Realtors franchise in 2016, he joined Douglas Elliman as Director of Luxury Sales, and The Agency Florida as Managing Partner/Broker in 2018.
A Fort Lauderdale resident, when Howard is not serving agents and clients, he enjoys traveling, exercising, and exploring South Florida’s vibrant culinary scene.
