Personal Background
Iris was born and raised in New York and New Jersey and earned her bachelor's degree in Romance Languages and Literature from Boston University. She lived in Chicago, then the North Shore, where she and her husband raised their family and have lived ever since. A Glencoe resident for more than 35 years, Iris is keenly knowledgeable of lifestyle on the North Shore. Her two children attended the Glencoe Public Schools and New Trier High School, where she was actively involved as an advocate. Always an ardent supporter of not-for-profit organizations, she actively worked on numerous charity and youth-based boards. Iris especially loves to travel to the East Coast to visit her seven grandchildren. She practices yoga and Pilates, enjoys the beauty of the outdoors, loves to walk, hike, exercise and play golf.
