Jake Lawhead

Jake Lawhead is proud to call himself a lifelong Memphian, and his journeys in life have led him to all parts of this great city. Coming from a long line of both broadcasters and real estate professionals, Jake tried his hand in broadcasting first, and quickly realized that his talents were more geared for real estate. Starting out as a Commercial Agent for two internationally recognized Commercial RE firms, Jake focused as a Tenant Representative for industrial companies, then earned a CCIM designation before leaving Commercial Real Estate in 2009. Making a shift to Residential Real Estate in 2014, Jake had the wonderful opportunity to co-represent the developer of the downtown Memphis Artesian Condominiums, where his background as a former commercial agent and condominium board member came into great use. Today’s buyers and sellers are savvier than ever, and Jake feels that his background in investment real estate and home remodeling have maximized his sellers' profit potential, as well as aiding his buyers in wise investment choices in purchasing their current homes. Jake and the Lawhead family currently reside and are entrenched in Midtown Memphis, but his real estate market expertise extends far past the Parkways.
