Jake Zapata

Jake Zapata joined Berkeley Capital Advisors in 2021 and is on the single-tenant net lease team. Since joining Berkeley, he has personally assisted in the underwriting and sale of 338 separate transactions with $1.01 Billion in sales volume. Before joining Berkeley, he served 4.5 years as a Ranger in the US Army. He deployed twice to Afghanistan and was awarded the Joint Service Commendation Medal and Army Commendation Medal. In 2015, he graduated with a B.A in Economics from Cornell University. Outside the office, he enjoys eating at new restaurants, visiting his family in his hometown of San Antonio, TX and attending sporting events.
