James Barnard

With over 18 years experience as a real estate broker, Jimmy specializes in brokerage, development, leasing, and management of commercial and industrial property. Jimmy has completed projects that included these national clients: Wal-Mart, Target, Applebees, Subway, Mc Donald's, Pizza Hut, and Burlington Coats.

In 2003, Wal-Mart purchased 36 acres on the east side of town that Jimmy handled for 4 buyers over the past 10 years. The vision never died, the marketing persisted and the project is now a reality.

Moose Lake Village, completed in 2002, included a 220 unit tax credit apartment project (Rancho del Cielo), an elementary school, an 84 lot residential subdivision (Ebony Parkway) and a 23 acre church site (Good Shepherd).

Jimmy is a graduate of Texas A&M University in Kingsville where he received a B.B.A. in Real Estate Finance. He is also a graduate of Leadership Brownsville and Leadership Rio Grande Valley. Prior to joining COASTAL REALTY, Jimmy worked in Retail Management, Banking and Mortgage Banking.
