James Barone

Jamie was born in New York City and raised in Fairfield County. He has lived in Baltimore, Maryland, Ann Arbor, Michigan, as well as the Lower East Side and Chelsea neighborhoods of Manhattan. Having resided in both urban and suburban neighborhoods, he smooths transitions from the city to the suburbs, sharing his knowledge of neighborhoods Fairfield County.

Jamie grew up in Stamford, where he now lives with his wife and two children, James and Ellie. One of Jamie's specialties is locating properties that require improvements to appeal to buyers seeking turn-key move in condition homes most recently in the Shippan and Springdale neighborhoods.

Prior to his career in real estate, he spent nearly a decade at Chelsea Piers Connecticut building an elite aquatics program. He has helped swimmers reach Olympic trials as well as the US National and Junior National Team and now enjoys coaching customers through complex, emotional decisions like finding the right home. One of six siblings, Jamie’s many family members young and old live throughout Greenwich, Shippan, Cove, North Stamford, and Norwalk, giving him deep knowledge of local neighborhoods.
