When we decided to get serious about our long-time dream to find and purchase property in the NC mountains, we were seeking a special person to help us, and were referred to James. He was immediately highly engaged with us and offered a huge amount of knowledge and skill in assisting us in narrowing down exactly what we were hoping to buy. This process took a lot of time and effort on his part - he took it very seriously and took our set of fairly complex criteria to heart. Since we were hours away from the western part of NC, much of this early work was done online, and James was amazing at giving us technologically-advanced ways to preview many properties before we actually narrowed down and made the trip to see our favorites in person. At that point, we already loved his approach and were thrilled to have found him, but it was when we actually viewed the large land tracts and homes that we knew we had found the perfect agent. James brought his Polaris Ranger, his special software, and so much knowledge and enthusiasm to each property. We were able to thoroughly explore the properties with his guidance. He got what we were about in our land search and we will treasure the memories of all the properties we explored with him. Now that we’ve closed on a property, I can say with appreciation that he took us through a multi-month process with expertise, a fun and calm demeanor, and a genuine desire to assist us in finding the dream place we were looking for. His communication has been impeccable, and he treated us as if we were his only clients. If you’re looking for property in western NC, I cannot say enough good things about him. Highly, highly recommended. He’s a true professional and a pleasure to work with.

Working with James to sell my house was a wonderful experience. He is thorough, efficient and sensible. An excellent realtor from start to finish. I have bought several places and there is no one better. I cannot recommend him enough. The marketing was beautiful from the photos to writeup. From the first conversation, I knew that James would be great to work with. Buying property from out of state seemed confusing and complicated, but he made sure it went off without a hitch. From spending 3 hours hiking through the woods to making sure the final paperwork was in order, James didn't hesitate to do what needed to be done.
