A 25-year licensed real estate specialist within La Quinta's golf clubs and communities, James Latta brings his local knowledge and real estate experience to Rancho La Quinta Properties. For over a decade, James has assisted both buyers and sellers alike in areas such as Rancho La Quinta, La Quinta Country Club, La Quinta Resort & Club, PGA West, The Hideaway, The Tradition and The Quarry, to name a few. A single-digit golfer and frequent contestant within state and local amateur golf tournaments, James is intimately familiar with the Coachella Valley's array of golf communities and has chosen Rancho La Quinta as his country club of expertise.
In the years prior to joining the On-Site Rancho La Quinta Properties team, James worked closely with out-of-state and local developers in acquiring, repositioning, and divesting of raw, entitled, and semi-entitled land.
As a listing agent, much of James' success has been the result of his attention-to-detail in marketing. Prior to attaining a real estate license in 1996, James worked for a prominent marketing agency and produced over 14 magazines and on-line publications. During this period, James developed relationships with some of the West Coast's brightest marketing practitioners and photographers and in the years that followed, used many of these resources to assemble real estate marketing campaigns for both new home developments, land projects and single-family homes sales.
A graduate of the University of Arizona with degrees in both Creative Writing and Marketing, James is an ardent writer whose work has been featured in publications ranging from Residence International, Palm Springs Life, HWY 111 Magazine, and various luxury real estate magazines. In his spare time, James enjoys photography, studying wine, cooking, discussing politics, spending time with his wife & daughter Klaudia, and generally, elaborating on semi-useless fun facts.
James and his wife Lena (who is also licensed with Rancho La Quinta) live in La Quinta with their daughter Cloudy & son Bruno and routinely travel to Poland - Lena's country of origin.
