We relocated from Missouri with a very specific list of needs and price range, every property we looked at met our criteria, this was important as we had a tight time frame to shop. If you're looking for efficiency and clarity these are the brokers for you!! Their knowledge of the area really steered us to the perfect place. It all started over a year ago. I met James Rodgers as my neighbor. I heard of his name from my fellow neighbors always with a great amount of respect. Everyone stated what a great neighbor/friend he was, but also mentioned how professional and ethical he was as a realtor. I’ve had much experience with realtors over the years. Like any other profession, there are the good, bad, and great professionals. I decided to reach out to Jim inquiring on real-estate that I was interested in. Jim answered his phone and we went to work from there. He was completely timely (hard to find today), with all calls, contacts, and knowledge in terms of what my sale needs were. In addition, he was extremely knowledgeable of the market, whether on Foreclosed or Short Sale Real-Estate matters (any realtor can work a normal/straight sale). What was really amazing to me was how calm and kind he was with me. Never pushing, just always available to give me “all” the information about the piece of property that I was inquiring about, so I could make an informed decision to buy, or move on. Jim listens to what your needs and wants are to find your “best solution” to buy or sell. To sum up my experience with Jim, I learned the following ------ He is, honest, works with integrity, is connected in terms of all aspects to sell or buy, is respected by his colleagues, and always there to help (If you get his voicemail he calls you back within hours, not heard of this day and age). Did I mention how he “problem solves”, and problems always surface when buying and selling real-estate. Lastly, he loves what he is doing, therefore passionate. Derek's personal knowledge of the South Florida area was very helpful in finding the right community for me. When I made the decision to buy my first home, I knew nothing about the current market or how to look beyond a walk-in closet. Thankfully a friend of mine just bought a home and pointed me in the direction of Derek and James. Prior to the search, they sat down with me to assess my needs and financial limits. From the start James was phenomial! This was the first house my wife and I have purchased, a very scary process. With James' knowledge and and great persnality the entire process seemed to be easier than what we've heard from others. Even when our initial house fell through due to unknown circumstances James was right there the following day with more listings. Derek and James worked for months on helping me find a 5 bedroom rental for my family in Parkland Golf and Country Club. Unfortunately the inventory was extremely limited and my family decided to remain in CT. They worked tirelessly spending many hours showing me what was available there and in neighboring communities as well as making phone call after phone call to all local agents to see if anything would be coming available to fit my needs. They contacted listing agents of homes for sale to see if the owner would consider renting. We never closed a deal but I would work with them again and recommend them to anybody looking for a great real estate team. They always respond back within hours and have great communication skills. I have been wanting to move to Florida for a few years. I have a possible job in Ft. Lauderdale so I went down to visit for a weekend and used Derek and Jimmy to view homes. Even though I wasn't ready to sign a contract that weekend they showed me both rentals, and homes to purchase. They helped show me the neighborhoods. They weren't pushy and forcing me to make a decision. I will use them when/if I decide to relocate to Ft. Lauderdale since they actually wanted to put the work in for me. Outstanding...you will not find a better negotiator in South Florida. I have been a real estate professional in Colorado for over 18 years. Jim convinced me to invest in the Florida market in late 2013. (a fantastic idea) My concern was living and working in Colorado and trying to buy a place in Florida was going to get very time consuming.
