Superstar is as close a descriptor as you can get to Jana. She has done everything she can to get me and my partner a home in this wild Sellers’ market. Despite having to finalize a sale and review offers with another client, she found a way to power through and work the extra hours needed to get our last minute bid in for a home. Not only that, she went way out of her way to book an appointment and see the home during an evening showing and FaceTimed us during the walkthrough! This is despite the fact that we were really stretching and we all knew the chances were slim on our offer getting accepted. She walked us through each step and was super responsive to the point of even helping us edit and finalize a letter of interest to the sellers. I don’t see us working with any other realtor in the future, Jana has went way above and beyond our expectations and we can’t wait to continue working with her to find our dream home!

About 20 yrs ago, I met Jana, I was working as a recruiter and she had come in looking for an Admin position hopefully in the RE industry. After talking with her I had learned she had just got her license and was hoping for a future in that industry. What a GEM! I placed her easily ~ but what happened next and next was short of spectacular. She was promoted to the Manager of a Corp relocation company, and began hiring from me. Working with her from that angle was interesting. It was easy to place people due to her ability to articulate her needs ~Jana is laser focused, intense in her ability to answer all the questions before you ask. She is direct. Patient. Fair. Time conscience. She has the utmost respect for your intelligence and prepares well.

When Jana joined John L Scott, she jumped into the top ten performers quickly. I followed her career, and we worked together professionally many times...

When I wanted to sell my home, guess who I called? She has everyone in her back pocket. A stager, a photographer, she has a binder of research available so that we, as a team, made all the right decisions and were daily up to date on the status of the market.

My experience working with Jana was phenomenal. I have bought and sold 4 homes in my life, and this experience by far was the best. I say that due to the trust she instills and backs up with all of her abilities. She does her homework. She answers your calls immediately, she steers you with absolute facts. She is definitely a power player and someone you'd want on your team, whether selling or buying.

I happened to move out of state, however wish with all my heart I could have put Jana in my pocket and taken her with me ~ She is the TOP of her field, her ability to mix trust, integrity, knowledge, direct communication, hard ball and laughter and sincere caring in her repertoire is both unique and amazing.

Jana and her team came highly recommended to me by my brother & his wife who have raved about her for over 15 years. This last fall I decided (on some what short notice) that it was time to sell my condo. I reached out to Jana and she made my request to get my not-yet-ready condo on the market a reality. I think she said something like "you let me know when you are ready and we'll make it happen." And make her happen she did. Jana is so knowledgeable - she took so much of the guess work out of the process for me, from helping me select paint colors and carpet colors, she dealt my my HOA board for all the final closing details (& let's be honest who likes to deal with the beaurocracy of HOA boards) and helped coordinate a window replacement near closing. This is really just a short list of the many ways that Jana made selling my condo a great experience. She was patient & answered all my questions and walk me through the process seemlessly. Unfortunately, the closing on our client's sale was delayed due to their buyer's financing, resulting in repeatedly delaying the move of 3 families. Jana was recommended to me by some professional colleagues and did not disappoint. In a short period of time, in the winter, during uncertain times, her experience came through and she helped us purchase a home in the mountains and sell ours when very few people were buying or selling. In both instances we dealt with difficult Realtors, inspections and circumstances but Jana does a tremendous job at shielding her client from that and managing the transaction. Beyond experience and the ability to navigate the transactions, she uses that experience and puts her client at ease, providing honest insight and recommendations, not just looking for a quick sale or a commission; she will play devil's advocate and remind you what you are looking for so you do not make an impulsive decision. I am actually a licensed real estate agent in the state of Virginia. I was extremely picky and researched a lot of realtors before choosing one for my relocation to Washington. I found Jana and read through a lot of her reviews and tracked her sales history. Her and Bri were absolutely amazing. I really liked all of the small touches that they provided as far as sending me a relocation guide, emails for easy transition tips and tricks. When my husband and I were thinking about selling our home, we interviewed a few realtors. When Jana came into our home for the first time, we knew she was the one. She came and presented us with a packet of information about the real estate market and our home value based on her current analysis. We didn't ultimately pull the trigger on selling until about 8 moths after this initial meeting, but when we called she was right on top of getting our home sold. Despite one buyer backing out, and working with an extremely difficult buyer's agent on our second contract, Jana kept poised, advocated for us, and ultimately got our home sold for the price we wanted. She has advised us, encouraged us, laughed with us, shared our frustrations, and celebrated with us once our home finally sold. Jana has a wonderful assistant, Mariah, who has been available when Jana isn't to keep us updated on our home sale and to contact other agents for showings in the event that Jana is out of town. Mariah has been a pleasure to with with as well. I have never been at ease with anyone who works on commission, but Jana was a game changer. She earned every penny of her commission, and then some with a performance that was well above expectation. We were really just probing the market to see when we might consider selling our condo to try to get into a larger home. We saw the home market was at a point where we could afford to buy if only we could get rid of the condo we had previously been upside down in. Not only did her statistical analysis find us the best time to sell, it also provided indicators for how and where to buy. With her guidance we secured the exact home we were looking for and sold our condo for well more than we ever expected, allowing us to cover all expenses related to our home purchase, condo sale, preparation and moving. "We met Jana years ago and sought her help to sell our current home and subsequently purchase another home. The market had just started to decline and we held off on our real estate goals to wait the market out. Jana kept in touch with us over that period and helped us gauge the best time to reenter the market. She sat down with us to help make a list to prepare out home for sale and even helped stage it at no expense to us. The marketing and photos were top notch and we procured a sale very quickly. But because things don't always go to plan in real estate, the first sale didn't come through. We put the home back on the market and even got a bidding war on our home which Jana helped us navigate and ultimately choose the offer that would net us the most money. As a first time buyer I found that she was very patient and thorough in making me feel at ease with the process and the details involved. Her experience and home buying "street smarts" were invaluable in determining how appropriate a property might be for my needs. Jana is also a great advocate for the buyer. Given today's crazy market we encountered several situations that were a bit out of the ordinary. Jana was able to handle them professionally, maintaining a strong stance for me, the buyer, while shielding me from the stresses of coming to a resolution.

Jana was recommended to us by Dexter Wellington. We are so grateful he did. Jana walked us through every step of selling our home of 20 years. We followed her advice and our home sold in 4 days. She then went with us to find our retirement home on Marrowstone Island. She traveled 100 miles with us a few times. She was always available and followed through on every detail.
