Janet Roderick

Janet Roderick is an experienced Chicago Realtor who believes that homeownership is the way to achieve and maintain long-term wealth and happiness. She works with first-time homebuyers, seasoned real estate investors, and anyone who wants to buy or sell the property and benefit from a smooth, successful real estate transaction. She understands that buying and selling real estate is a major financial decision but can also be an emotional one. She believes that one of the most important things she can do for her clients is to listen to their needs and concerns, their hopes and wants, as well as their struggles, and provides solutions to create a win-win situation for all parties.

Janet helps many of her client's transition from the city to the suburbs (and back, in some cases) and serves buyers and sellers in Berwyn, Oak Park, Elmhurst, Winnetka, Evanston, Park Ridge, and surrounding towns. She grew up on a farm in Hinckley, IL but has loved living in Chicago for over 40 years. She has raised four children here and knows firsthand how to navigate the Chicago public and private school systems. She appreciates the unique characteristics of each Chicago neighborhood including West Town, Lakeview, Fulton Market, and Bronzeville, where she currently lives with her husband and two boxer dogs.
