Gave her a call to start searching for property and she got me started right away. Handpicking each property that fit my wants and needs while making sure there were no surprises either. Had a great experience with Janet. My wife and I were looking to purchase a building lot in Florida for our retirement home. Wife and I Agreed on Burnt Store Lakes. Originally wanted a canal lot in South Gulf Cove but ultimately too expensive. Janet helped us with a waterfront lake lot that offers very nice water views and a south eastern rear exposure on a cul de sac. Closing went very smoothly and pretty quick.
Our next step will be meeting with Janet to assist in finding a good builder. Looking forward to meeting Janet in person and begin the build process. Janet was not pushy and let us come to our own decisions while providing guidance.

Janet was one of the first people we met when we arrived In Englewood, Florida as new “Snowbirds” in January.

From the moment we met, she was so warm and welcoming. We popped in to the Dearborn Street office on a whim , hoping to find some information about somewhere to rent for the 2022 season.

Even though she deals in sales, not rentals...she tirelessly worked until she found a pet friendly place for us to rent for next year. (Not an easy task)

As the weeks flew by, we realized that we love the area, and wanted to explore the possibility of purchasing some land to build on in the future.

Janet spent several hours with us to familiarize us with several different options, and helped us find land in South Gulf Cove, which we just recently purchased!

It is evident that Janet loves people, and all facets of real estate. We can’t wait to work with her when we build our Benham home! She is very knowledgeable, and is willing to investigate any questions that we have. She is a true professional, with a way of making others feel comfortable.

I first came in contact with Janet one Sunday afternoon when I was out exploring an area I was interested in buying. I saw a house I was interested in and got her number off the sign and called her. Her response was that she was a few minutes away and was I interested in looking at it. I said I did not want to interfere with her Sunday, she assured me that I was not and she would be happy to come out. She came out and showed the house to me,, she inquired about specifications that I wanted in a house , and I gave her the priorities, and also that I needed to be around a more active group that was into biking, hiking etc. at that time she entered my requirements that I wanted in a house and I started receiving listings the next day. We were out seeing homes and she told me she had one she would like me to see, after she told me a little about the community I only agreed because she had been putting in a lot of research and hard work for me. I personally do not like feeling "pushed" when I'm looking to purchase something. Janet was great, always a phone call away but I never felt like she was pushing me..... She worked with us for well over a year (because we were unsure of taking this next step) knowing that we may decide in the end not to buy anything. She simply continued to find properties that would interest us (& and she LISTENED to us) & in the end we decided on the perfect property for us! I know we never would have purchased another property if we had been working with anyone else..... I would have felt like I was wasting their time (& mine) and given up. It didn't stop there! Anytime I was unsure of something she patiently answered my questions. She was even helpful guiding us to trustworthy people.
But DO NOT get the wrong impression here! When things got rough (and they did!) Janet took on the challenge! She is extremely knowledgeable in her field. She knows what is in her contracts & will make sure you do. I can not even begin to express how THANKFUL I am that we had Janet in our corner! I know we never would have been able to complete the purchase of this property if we had been working with anyone else. I have since talked with other people that have experienced the same issues & they not only lost the property but also lost money in the deal too. I know that most transactions go smoothly but if or when a problem arises...... I WANT JANET!!!

I met Janet at a local event unrelated to real estate and started up a conversation about favorite desserts. We started then to discuss local towns and restaurants which led into where to buy a home and the pros and cons of Sarasota and Charlottes counties.
