About Janet

Janet has worked in the Sarasota market for over 23 years and has spent a combined twenty-one years living on both Lido and Longboat Key. Janet's experience working, playing, and living on the Sarasota waterfront means that she has intimate knowledge of the properties that you may be considering. She is known as a “Longboat Key Resident & Realtor”, although her expertise and experience extend to buyers and sellers throughout the region, from Useppa Island to downtown Sarasota and Bradenton. Janet received “Rookie of the Year 2015” for the Michael Saunders & Company Longboat Key South office and earned her Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist Designation in 2016.

Janet was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. After graduating from Denison University in Granville, Ohio, she relocated to Sarasota to take a position with Heitman Retail Properties as Marketing Director at Sarasota Square Mall and has been actively involved in the community ever since.

Janet has spent over two decades developing local knowledge and personal connections that she is glad to share. Her knowledge of the latest marketing technology and trends is a tremendous asset to her clients. In addition to Michael Saunders & Company, Janet has worked in commercial real estate/marketing roles for Sarasota Square Mall, Southgate Plaza, Kellogg & Kimsey Construction, The Colony Beach & Tennis Resort, and the Jewish Community Center.

Janet has worked with over 30 local charitable organizations to date, including Girls, Inc., Donte’s Den, The Ringling Museum of Art, the Humane Society of Sarasota County, The Sarasota/Manatee YMCA, and The Asolo Repertory Theatre.
