Clay Horton joined Gray Real Estate Elite after spending over 31 years with the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS), working in counties across south central and southeastern Oklahoma.
During his tenure with NRCS, Clay found the most rewarding experience to be educating landowners on natural resource management and the interaction of soil, plant, water, animals, and climate, He is a firm believer that each acre of land comes with its own set of strengths and weaknesses and inherently possess multiple uses to fit the owners objective.
Whether you are interested in ranching, hunting, market gardening, or simply love nature, Clay has the skills and experience to help you find the property that best suits your needs or can market your property to groups wider than you may have realized yourself.
Clay graduated from Byng High School and attended both Eastern Oklahoma State College and Oklahoma State University. At OSU, he earned his bachelor's degree in Rangeland Management. Prior to his time as a conservationist, Clay served in the Navy. Currently he is a firefighter and Board Member at Union Valley Volunteer Fire Department.
