I thought I could buy my first house without the help of a real estate agent. . . I was wrong. Houses were selling as soon as they were on the market. I was moving in from out of town and couldn't keep up, so I went ahead and hired a Realtor: Jason Burke. I'm glad I did! He helped my girlfriend and I find a perfect home. About a week after hiring Jason, and several house visits later a new house had just come on the market (not even listed for a whole day), and we knew it might be the one. During the middle of a weekday, I called him and asked him to go check it out for us ASAP. Jason drove over there pretty much immediately and sent us detailed pictures and videos of the house from his smart phone. He did a CMA for us and told us what to offer. I ended up making an offer that same day without ever stepping inside! I trusted Jason's opinion, and our offer was accepted. Once I finally got to check out the house, it was awesome! I definitely made the right choice. Jason coordinated everything required for me to close on the house, and made it stress free. He was very knowledgeable, diligent, and accommodating. Like everyone else, we were extremely picky and he showed patience, interest and drive to find the home we had to have. Jason was very professional, friendly and helpful during our relocation house hunting week. My husband and I lived in a hotel room with 2 dogs while he worked and I looked at over 30 homes. With 2 dogs and a bad cold Jason was patient and accommodating. He would help with the dogs and put them in the back of his car while providing me the tissue and fluids I needed to make it through the day. We were relocating to the area, and I have to say our experience with Jason was terrific. His local knowledge really helped to pick general geography as well as very local sites within, based on schools our children would attend. my husband was transferred to Virginia from Missouri. we had to find a home quick. I found Jason on the internet. I called him told him what we needed and he went to work , sending us homes based on distance to my husband job and room that we needed for our family and elderly mother, and a fenced yard for our animals. once we narrowed it down we came out he showed us the homes and we found one that was great. we had to go back to Missouri.
