Jason is the definition of a true real-estate professional. From start to finish this man stuck with us through the ups and downs of the entire buying process during the peak of the post pandemic real-estate boom. His fingers were on the pulse of the market at all hours of the day. His clear communication, thoughtful evaluations and quick response times were critical in our successful home buying experience. He went above and beyond our expectations to make sure we were well taken care of before, during and after the transaction. When I started the process of shopping for a home I felt the human element was completely lost in a crowed and cut throat real-estate market. Jason has restored my faith with his abilities to connect with people in powerful and meaningful ways. I know it's truly important to him to make sure his clients have a positive outcome and improve their living situations when working with him. He's the real deal folks!

My wife and I had at times tried house-hunting in the past and were never able to find the right fit. We were honestly thinking about resigning to life here in Portland as renters until we met Jason. We were introduced through a friend and immediately got along well. These days we're all able to play the "refresh Zillow" game, but Jason was frequently sending us interesting options that we'd somehow missed. He really did a great job putting himself into our shoes, listening to what we wanted in a place, and doing his best to set us up for success in the long run. He gave us the crash course in determining long-term home values in a way no other agent had for us.

But where he really helped was in negotiating a final sale price for us. We were shopping for a home at the height of the mid-Covid sellers-market, and in an environment where insane over-asking cash offers were the norm, Jason was able to use his deep knowledge of the local market to secure us an incredibly beautiful home below asking-price. A minor miracle, as far as I'm concerned.

In short, he's a great guy, has a great attitude, truly cares about his clients and has a keen sense of the market. I'm happy to call him a friend!

Jason found our house while we were in another state. He always went above and beyond, asked all the hard questions of the sellers (and thought of all the ones we didn’t think of!), he spent so much time with us to accommodate our asks, and keep us from losing our minds while house hunting. He has solid knowledge of the structures in the PNW, and that was a huge plus for our needs. We referred him to two of our friends, and they successfully bought their first house with Jason as well. I’ve spoken with so many people that have been hosed with their realtors and I am so grateful for having Jason’s help.

I really can't say enough good things about working with Jason Wasinger.

I just bought my first house in April 2020, and was fortunate enough to have found him randomly through sending an information request on Zillow. I was still in my early home buying stage (predominantly research) and Jason made me feel instantly at-ease and applied zero pressure. It was clear he wanted me to find a home that worked for me, wether I went through him or not. When it came time to pull the trigger, I passed on the numerous agent recommendations I'd received from family and friends, trusting my gut that Jason was the best possible agent I could work with--and I'm so happy I did.

When the true home buying process began, Jason was an invaluable asset. We went over exactly what I was looking for--what I needed, what I wanted, and what I was adverse to--and he took it upon himself to hunt through listings daily trying to find me my unicorn (a sub-$375,000 house in Portland proper that would be available for move in within 2 months when my rental contract ended--a seemingly impossible request). Jason was available to me via all modes of communication from early morning to late night, answering all my silly questions (many more than once) without making me feel stupid. He never made me feel like I was asking too much, being too picky, or taking up too much of his time, even though I'm sure I was being a constant thorn.

I had wanted a fixer-upper (really all you could hope for in my price range), and knew enough to know that I didn't know everything I was getting into. Jason's extensive background in construction became critical in figuring out what I was signing myself up for. In the rare instance he didn't have an answer to one of my many inquiries regarding what renovations a house would require, he'd reach out to his wide network of knowledgable colleagues and come back with the answer--if he didn't know something, he didn't pretend like he did, but always found someone who could properly educate me. It's also clear that he has exceptionally curated his network and doesn't hand out recommendations for other tradespeople with lack of vetting or thought; from plumbers, to lender contacts, to general handy-men, every person I've had the pleasure of working with through an introduction by Jason is just as knowledgeable and on-top of their trade as he is.

What I valued most about Jason, though, was his honesty with me. It was clear he didn't want to waste my time (though he was still more than willing to look at houses he knew from experience wouldn't be a good fit for me but I couldn't get a good read on from just the listing, or answer my late night questions about a house we'd looked at and I'd already passed on). He gracefully walked me through what became a relatively difficult closure process (through no fault of his own and entirely out of his control) and still left me feeling like I had won and had a wonderful experience. Jason was in-tune enough to tell I wanted his input on things, and was, thankfully, vocal on his feedback and advice. It can be a very emotional process to buy a house, and was for me--being on a time crunch, having limited funding but a long list of "needs," at the start of pandemic lockdown in our area--and he helped me set my honest expectations for how things could work out.

At his core, Jason is simply a good man who loves and excels at his work, and this shines brightly in every interaction with him. He is honest, kind, compassionate, professional, punctual, courteous, and knowledgeable: truly a gem in his field. I simply can not recommend him enough, and I hope that anyone willing to make it through this wall of text takes the opportunity to make their home-buying experience easier and more joyous by working with Jason Wasinger.
