Jay Massirman

A real estate industry veteran with over three decades of experience, Jay co-manages the platform and leads the team on new opportunities in the target markets.

Jay is the Founder & CEO of Rivergate Companies, a real estate holding company actively engaged in the formation and ongoing investment in multifamily (BFR & traditional) development, self-storage development & industrial small by acquisitions and development.

Before forming Rivergate Companies in 2007, he spent 20 years with global real estate service provider CBRE. As a Vice Chairman, he was a perennial top producer and actively involved in the sale and financing of over 76,000 multifamily units with an aggregate value above $10 billion.

Jay currently serves as Chair of the Hospital Board for Nicklaus Children’s Hospital and Chair of the Master of Real Estate Development + Urbanism program at the University of Miami School of architecture. In his spare time, he enjoys fitness, golf, and travel.
