JC Thomas is a true Gainesvillian, born and raised in Alachua County, with deep roots and a wealth of experiences he brings to every client relationship. A proud graduate of PK Yonge and member of Howard University’s Hall of Fame football team, JC majored in business administration and went on to manage successful businesses across Washington, D.C., Miami, Atlanta, and Charlotte. His leadership roles in restaurants, bars, and nightclubs honed his skills in operations, negotiations, and client service.
While at Howard, JC earned a coveted summer internship with his senator, the Honorable Lawton Chiles, where he met national figures like John Glenn and Ted Kennedy and even escorted Elizabeth Taylor to the Senate floor—an unforgettable highlight.
After years away, JC returned home to Gainesville over a decade ago to care for family and support his son through school. Dedicated to giving back, he became a football coach to mentor local youth and positively impact his community.
JC enjoys everything about the outdoors, from fishing and swimming in North Florida springs to hitting the golf course. A lover of live music, especially jazz, he brings a grounded, approachable energy to his work in real estate.
