About Jean

Jean L. Metzler is a Broker Associate who consistently ranks as a top-producing Chicago Realtor and is the leader of Jean Metzler & Partners at Compass. She has worked in real estate sales for 19 years and, prior to that, spent 12 years working in corporate communications, marketing, PR, and advertising for many of the highest performing companies in the world. Most recently, Jean held the position of Manager of Strategic Communications for McDonald’s Corporation.

Jean has been featured as a Chicago real estate expert in a variety of professional publications and on television in HGTV's program, Good Buy/Bad Buy.

Jean completed a dual bachelor’s degree in English and Psychology at The University of Redlands (Redlands, CA) and later earned a Master of Science in Communication Degree from Northwestern University (Evanston, IL). She is a member of the National Association of Realtors, Illinois Association of Realtors and Chicago Association of Realtors as well as the Multiple Listing Service of Northern Illinois and Real Estate Buyer’s Agent Council.
