Jeff believes in serving his community. He has served on the Board of Directors of the Lufkin Multiple Listings Service, Inc. for several years and is the organization’s 2020 President. He also serves on the City of Lufkin’s Planning and Zoning Board of Adjustments. He is a member of the Lufkin Rotary Club International, and he and his family always enjoy participating in the Annual Waffle Bake and ringing the bell for the Salvation Army during Christmas time.
Jeff runs the company with his wife, Heather, a fellow real estate broker and former local television news anchor.
Jeff and Heather have two teenage sons, Chip and Blake, and spend most of their free time cheering them on at their various sporting events. Jeff has coached his boys in baseball for over a decade, and is the proud father of a two time Little League Baseball National Champion who played on both the Thundering 13 and the Fierce 14’s. Hunting and fishing are also big family past times, and Jeff enjoys serving as the boat captain for his boys when they compete on their school’s bass fishing team. The Buchanan family is widely known for “catching ‘em” and for taking rods and tackle with them everywhere they go!
Jeff and his family have attended Timber Creek Church in Lufkin for over 20 years where all four of them enjoy serving in various ministries. Jeff also views real estate as a type of ministry because it affords him an opportunity to foster the talents of his agents and to help his clients’ dreams come true.
