About Jeff

On a cold November day in 1978, a baby was born to a young farmer and his wife, just trying to get ahead in this crazy world. He would be the third of five children born unto this pair of struggling but optimistic and hard-working people. As time passed this baby grew into a young boy, helping with chores on the farm and playing with his brothers and sister. Eventually as more prosperity came to the family, they moved from the farm to a new home a bit closer to the city. The children grew and the boy over time grew into a young man. This young man then met a young lady and they fell in love, engaging in a whirlwind romance that led to marriage and four children of their own.

That young man was Jeff Hefel, managing broker of the Dubuque office of Ruhl&Ruhl Realtors.
