About Jefferson

Jeff grew up in North Carolina (Charlotte and Hickory) and spent a lot of time in the high country for ski trips and travel soccer games.
Jeff has had some unique work experiences including working 3 summers at Walt Disney World in Orlando while earning a BA from UNC Chapel Hill. After college, he began his professional career as a Property and Casualty Insurance Broker at Lloyd’s of London in the UK.
To pursue the international interests, Jeff’s work interest took him to Brazil, Mexico and lastly Shenzhen, China for 12 years where he learned to speak fluent Mandarin. In China, Jeff founded his own Import/Export company and worked as a Sales Representative selling American made furniture to high-end retail stores and interior designers in Asia.
Jeff held his Florida Real Estate License for 8 years while living in South Florida. He returned to the NC mountains in 2022 where he lives in Banner Elk with his girlfriend, Anne-Lindsay, and their dog, Wilson.
Jeff’s interests include tennis, jazz piano, mountain biking, and golf.
