About Jeffrey

Jeff Ryder was born in New Haven, Connecticut and raised in the Tampa Bay area most of his life. He's been blessed with a loving family, great neighbors and a tremendous amount of good friends. Early on he was very active in sports which laid the foundation for him in regard to the team concept. The Team concept is something they value very high at Leslie Wells Realty. He started his career working in construction on all types of projects both commercial and residential. After years in the construction business, he had an opportunity to work in a crisis intervention program where he was able to help people in their greatest time of need.

At that point, he realized that helping others was his true calling. It became his passion and after several years of working in crisis intervention he went back to school and became a firefighter EMT, where he worked his way up to the rank of Lieutenant. He found that he was genuinely enjoying the fact that he was fulfilling his passion of helping others but also utilizing the team concept on each and every call. After a few years in the fire department, he started his own home improvement business and began to help others with all their remodel projects as well as home improvement needs. He found that he was working a great amount with real estate professionals. Primarily helping their clients prepare their homes for sale or working with their clients after the purchase to make their new homes exactly what they envisioned when they made the purchase.

It was then that he realized he could further help others in the home buying process by providing support and information on things such as the condition of the home or repairs that would need to be completed after the purchase. All his years working in construction and the home improvement business was now a very good tool for buyers and sellers. He went on to secure his real estate license and joined the team at Leslie Wells Realty. Today, he prides himself on guiding his clients in the home buying and selling process. Selling or buying a home can be an incredibly stressful time. His goal is to streamline the process taking as much pressure off my clients as possible. Honesty, demanding work and determination are characteristics he learned at a young age that have carried him through his life and career. Today he continues to apply those characteristics to his real estate career. In his free time, he enjoy traveling, hiking and boating with his family.
