We can’t thank Jen Burns enough for making our condo sale go so smoothly. Jen met with us to go over all the steps she thought would highlight our property the best. He knowledge for pricing in the Ballston area was spot on. Scheduling each step to prepare went smoothly and the condo looked amazing by the time she posted it. We had appointments booked right away and an open house. It sold in four days! Jen was awesome to work with and we highly recommend her.

I started the home buying process early, figuring it might take several months to find a home that had everything I needed with at least some of what I wanted. My lease was going to be up in mid-May, but I started looking in September. I highly recommend my Realtor, Jennifer Burns, because she not only is knowledgeable about the housing market, and the home buying process, but she took the time to get to know me on a personal level. First, Jennifer sat down with me and discussed what I was looking for in a home -- everything from the location, to type of property (single family, townhouse, condo, or high-rise) and what I felt was the budget range I could afford. Then Jennifer referred me to a mortgage loan officer she personally knows, who educated me about the types of mortgage loans for which I could qualify. Since I have a Chapter 7 bankruptcy on my credit history, this was a concern. I did get pre-approved for an FHA-loan. Then we started looking at homes. It was a challenge finding an FHA-approved condo I liked, but every time I got discouraged, Jennifer was there for me; she stayed positive and helped me feel better by sharing her personal experience about when she and her husband bought a home. Soon after, we found an FHA-approved condo that not only had what I needed, but also everything that was on my "wish list" and more (it even had a wood burning fireplace -- bonus!). The home I made an offer on had some expected competition, but Jennifer provided comps and came up with a strategy to go in with a strong offer, which was countered by the seller and I accepted. Jennifer helped out with setting up all the inspections, and finding out answers to other various questions I had. We did a 21-day "fast close," which was a lot of work in a short period of time, but it went so smoothly, when we were at the closing on October 17, I still couldn't believe it. (Remember, I started looking in September!) That said, if there is anything I want you to take away from my review, it is this: Jennifer wanted to help me find a home I would love, but also one that I could truly afford. She didn't want to just sell me any home that checked all the boxes on my list. She wanted to help me find the "right" one. And that's exactly what she did. I couldn't be happier!
