About Jennifer

Jennifer Atkins leads New Waters Realty and New Waters, LLC as President, COO and Managing Broker. She has been an active part of the real estate community for more than 25 years and has managed and marketed a variety of retail, commercial and residential real estate projects throughout the Southeast.
Atkins, who started her real estate career with Jim Wilson & Associates, Inc., served as the company's receptionist at her date of hire and over her tenure went on to serve as director of marketing and operations for the company's portfolio of shopping centers. She expanded her experience to the residential market as development manager of Vaughn Road, LLC and executive director of the Deer Creek Homeowners' Association. Deer Creek is an 800-acre Master Planned Community in East Montgomery.
In 2007 Atkins moved to Aronov Realty Management as vice president of residential land development and marketing. In this position, Mrs. Atkins was responsible for developing and managing the company's residential real estate development projects. Her responsibilities grew to include marketing services for the company's resorts, multi-family, commercial and retail portfolios.
She holds a master's degree in business administration from Troy University Montgomery and a bachelor's degree in business administration and marketing from Auburn University at Montgomery. She is an Alabama Real Estate licensee and broker, a graduate of Leadership Montgomery and a member of the Montgomery Area Chamber of Commerce Chairman's Circle. She serves the Montgomery Area Association of Realtors (MAAR) on several committees and has served on the Board of Directors for the local Multiple Listing Service (an affiliate of MAAR). She is an active member of Church of the Highlands and a wife to Todd Atkins and a mother to twins, Hunter and Alexandra "Alex" Atkins.
In addition to her work in the real estate industry, Mrs. Atkins has served on the board of directors for Camp Smile-A-Mile and the March of Dimes. She is a founding member and chairman of the board for the James W. Wilson Jr Family YMCA Board of Directors and is a member of the Greater Montgomery YMCA Metro Board and the Pike Road Kiwanis Club.
