About Jennifer

Jen grew up in Hampton Roads, Virginia and vacationed frequently on the Outer Banks. After living on Hatteras Island during a summer in college Jen fell in love with the Island and the people. Once she graduated from Longwood University with a B.A. in Communication Studies and a minor in Business Administration with an emphasis on Marketing, Jen moved back to Avon. Jen is the wife of a veteran professional kiteboarder who turned charter boat captain and is the mother of an energetic and fun little girl. Jen loves to spend time with her family and friends enjoying life at the beach.

Since making Hatteras Island her home, Jen has worked for one of the largest property management companies on the Island, specializing in Marketing. In 2007, Jen became a North Carolina Real Estate Broker. Eventually she moved into Interior Design when her love and passion for decorating led her to gain the Accredited Staging Professional designation. Jen specializes in staging, marketing, and social media.
