Jenn is an absolutely fantastic realtor.

When my wife and I started out house hunting, we did consider other realtors. A friend of mine ended up recommending Jenn and I am glad he did. In the very fast paced housing market, Jenn was by far the most responsive and proactive. She was focused on our preferences more than showing us the highest priced property.

Words cannot describe how grateful my wife and I are to have worked with Jennifer. We met her just over 1.5 years ago when buying our property. My husband and I worked with Jennifer Gregorski for over two years to find a waterfront home on the eastern shore. We began our search during the late stages of the COVID-19 pandemic with very specific requirements regarding the type, location, and features of the home we were seeking. Over the course of the two years, I believe we looked at over 50 homes in person in addition to over a hundred that we viewed online. Jennifer was our trusted partner throughout the entire process.

Jennifer fully understood our requirements and would proactively obtain additional information, such as internet access, floor plans, and plats from agents before we looked at homes in which we were interested. She made calls on our behalf to county and state offices to clarify issues of concern and took initiative in finding solutions for some of the more complex problems we encountered. Throughout the process, Jennifer was honest and straightforward in her assessments and feedback. She never put pressure on us to come to a decision about a house. By contrast, on a couple of occasions, she pointed out flaws in homes we were interested in that we had not considered and would have been unacceptable to us at a later stage.

Jennifer was patient and informative and responded to our changing needs with humor and positivity. Once we found our desired home, she helped us navigate the offer process, making sure that we did not over-extend ourselves simply to buy a house. She was especially valuable in helping us move through what ended up being a rather complex contract negotiation process. She was on top of the various issues, communicated constantly and well with the seller’s agent, and kept us informed of the progress we were making in resolving outstanding matters. Her assistance was instrumental in our ability to ratify the final sales contract.

Jennifer’s experience with contract matters, knowledge of the area, and experience in real-estate were invaluable during and following the inspection process. She took the lead in working with the buyer’s agent to find subcontractors to address problems identified during the inspection. In addition, she helped us find contractors to complete the renovations and changes needed in our home following settlement.

Jennifer was unwavering in advocating for us and for making sure that we found our desired home. We are eternally thankful to her for her commitment and assistance.

Working with Jen to sell our Washington, DC condo was one of the best decisions that we have ever made! My husband and I decided to sell our condo quickly and Jen not only acted as our realtor but also our project manager as she knew our overseas move was a labor-intensive and time-consuming process. Jen personally managed the entire process by bringing in handymen, painters, flooring crews, cleaners and stagers. I didn't have to find contractors, Jen already had trusted partners on speed dial which was such a relief to not have to vet the people who were in my home. Once we were on the market, Jen was very creative and resourceful, even joining forces with another seller's agent in the building and holding open houses on the same days at the same times to increase traffic for both units. We accepted a strong offer after Jen was a bulldog with some back and forth negotiations and couldn't be happier. We had the pleasure of working with Jennifer to sell our two condos and finding our forever home. When selling our condos, she explained the whole process before we started and made it very smooth and straightforward from start to finish. She worked with us to set up photographers and used her contacts to get the best pricing for painters, a handyman, professional cleaners, and carpet cleaners. She is so hands-on in every aspect that she even brought a stool to change a light bulb when a light fixture was questioned if it was functional.

When we began the process of finding our forever home, Jennifer went above and beyond to ensure we saw any house we were interested in seeing. She was highly knowledgeable in identifying potential issues, upgrades, and home improvements to meet our needs. Jennifer quickly knew our requirements, nice to haves and preferences so much that she would look at the MLS listing of a house we were interested in and point out if it did not have certain aspects so as to not waste our time. She was our advocate when submitting the numerous offers and our cheerleader to ensure that we do not get discouraged in such a competitive market.

During the closing process for selling and buying, Jennifer was there to explain everything in the contract. She would explain it in layman's terms to ensure we understood everything.

Buying your first home during a pandemic in the most competitive market the area has ever seen sounds like a nightmare, but Jennifer made it a shockingly enjoyable experience. Everyone we’ve talked to had struggled to get a property, and everything we’ve read prepared us for a soul crushing endeavor. Yet, Jennifer was always a calming presence who felt more like a friend than anything, while still being professional and beyond capable. As first time home buyers, we had no idea into what we were getting ourselves, but she answered all of our questions and walked us through putting in an offer in an unparalleled competitive market. She was always responsive and easy to reach. We never felt like she was just trying to “make the sale”, and she understood us and our priorities. She knew exactly what we were looking for, and could tell within seconds if it was a match for us. Knowing she grew up in the area further inspired our trust in her expertise.

We put in an offer on the third house she showed us, only 2 weeks after our first phone call with her. She phrased the offer to play up our strengths and knew how to make us the most appealing to the sellers, and we had our first offer accepted, which is almost unheard of. The escrow process went off without a hitch, and she served as an advocate to make sure we got the very best outcome. The only downside of Jennifer finding us our perfect home so quickly is that we don’t get to see her any longer! We worked with Jen to purchase our first home.  And thank goodness we had her, because we had a million questions along the way!  Jen is professional, accessible, and most importantly a pleasure to work with! We worked with her over a period of about seven months. As we looked at properties, we changed our "vision" for what we were looking for a couple of times.  Jen was always so patient and understanding, and helped us to really hone in on our specifications. Whenever we went to look at properties, Jen knew exactly what to look for (dates of major systems, quality of renovations, etc.).

All along the way, she recommended vendors to us - local lenders, inspection companies, etc. We ended up going with one of her lender recommendations, and having a local lender made all the difference when we wanted to put in an offer at 10 PM on a Saturday night!  Jen also established a great rapport with the seller's agent, which helped us with negotiating repairs after the inspection results came in.

Now that we have completed the home-buying process (moving in two days!), we will be sad not to see Jen for house tours anymore. But we will certainly be recommending her to anyone who is looking for a home in the DC area!

Jennifer was patient, proactive and didn't laugh at my many silly questions. We reached out before we were officially ready to start the search, allowing her time to get familiar with the market in the specific neighborhood we were looking at. Even though I have lived in the DMV for almost 30 years, I knew that when I moved from the northern Virginia suburbs, into the city, I would need help finding the right place to live. Craigslist would just not work for this move.
Our budget was very small, and we needed to search extra hard for a good fit. Jennifer was 150% up to the challenge! She helped us look all over the city for an apartment, and we ended up renting a condominium unit that we absolutely love.
