Thanks to her expertise, enthusiasm, excellent communication, and attention to every detail, I got a market-setting top dollar for my home with minimal stress and disruption to my family. As a busy single parent I so valued Jennifer’s offer to coordinate all the painters, cleaners, handymen, stagers, photographers, drone pilot(!), etc. who got everything in shape for the sale. My husband and I worked with Jennifer Gregorski for over two years to find a waterfront home on the eastern shore. We began our search during the late stages of the COVID-19 pandemic with very specific requirements regarding the type, location, and features of the home we were seeking. Over the course of the two years, I believe we looked at over 50 homes in person in addition to over a hundred that we viewed online. Jennifer was our trusted partner throughout the entire process.

Jennifer fully understood our requirements and would proactively obtain additional information, such as internet access, floor plans, and plats from agents before we looked at homes in which we were interested. She made calls on our behalf to county and state offices to clarify issues of concern and took initiative in finding solutions for some of the more complex problems we encountered. Throughout the process, Jennifer was honest and straightforward in her assessments and feedback. She never put pressure on us to come to a decision about a house. By contrast, on a couple of occasions, she pointed out flaws in homes we were interested in that we had not considered and would have been unacceptable to us at a later stage.

Jennifer was patient and informative and responded to our changing needs with humor and positivity. Once we found our desired home, she helped us navigate the offer process, making sure that we did not over-extend ourselves simply to buy a house. She was especially valuable in helping us move through what ended up being a rather complex contract negotiation process. She was on top of the various issues, communicated constantly and well with the seller’s agent, and kept us informed of the progress we were making in resolving outstanding matters. Her assistance was instrumental in our ability to ratify the final sales contract.

Jennifer’s experience with contract matters, knowledge of the area, and experience in real-estate were invaluable during and following the inspection process. She took the lead in working with the buyer’s agent to find subcontractors to address problems identified during the inspection. In addition, she helped us find contractors to complete the renovations and changes needed in our home following settlement.

Working with Jen to sell our Washington, DC condo was one of the best decisions that we have ever made! My husband and I decided to sell our condo quickly and Jen not only acted as our realtor but also our project manager as she knew our overseas move was a labor-intensive and time-consuming process. Jen personally managed the entire process by bringing in handymen, painters, flooring crews, cleaners and stagers. When selling our condos, she explained the whole process before we started and made it very smooth and straightforward from start to finish. She worked with us to set up photographers and used her contacts to get the best pricing for painters, a handyman, professional cleaners, and carpet cleaners. She is so hands-on in every aspect that she even brought a stool to change a light bulb when a light fixture was questioned if it was functional.

When we began the process of finding our forever home, Jennifer went above and beyond to ensure we saw any house we were interested in seeing. Buying your first home during a pandemic in the most competitive market the area has ever seen sounds like a nightmare, but Jennifer made it a shockingly enjoyable experience. Everyone we’ve talked to had struggled to get a property, and everything we’ve read prepared us for a soul crushing endeavor. Yet, Jennifer was always a calming presence who felt more like a friend than anything, while still being professional and beyond capable. As first time home buyers, we had no idea into what we were getting ourselves, but she answered all of our questions and walked us through putting in an offer in an unparalleled competitive market. She was always responsive and easy to reach. We never felt like she was just trying to “make the sale”, and she understood us and our priorities. She knew exactly what we were looking for, and could tell within seconds if it was a match for us. Knowing she grew up in the area further inspired our trust in her expertise.

We put in an offer on the third house she showed us, only 2 weeks after our first phone call with her. She phrased the offer to play up our strengths and knew how to make us the most appealing to the sellers, and we had our first offer accepted, which is almost unheard of. The escrow process went off without a hitch, and she served as an advocate to make sure we got the very best outcome. The only downside of Jennifer finding us our perfect home so quickly is that we don’t get to see her any longer! We worked with Jen to purchase our first home.  And thank goodness we had her, because we had a million questions along the way!  Jen is professional, accessible, and most importantly a pleasure to work with! We worked with her over a period of about seven months. As we looked at properties, we changed our "vision" for what we were looking for a couple of times.  Jen was always so patient and understanding, and helped us to really hone in on our specifications. Whenever we went to look at properties, Jen knew exactly what to look for (dates of major systems, quality of renovations, etc.).

All along the way, she recommended vendors to us - local lenders, inspection companies, etc. We ended up going with one of her lender recommendations, and having a local lender made all the difference when we wanted to put in an offer at 10 PM on a Saturday night!  Jen also established a great rapport with the seller's agent, which helped us with negotiating repairs after the inspection results came in.

Now that we have completed the home-buying process (moving in two days!), we will be sad not to see Jen for house tours anymore. But we will certainly be recommending her to anyone who is looking for a home in the DC area!

Even though I have lived in the DMV for almost 30 years, I knew that when I moved from the northern Virginia suburbs, into the city, I would need help finding the right place to live. Craigslist would just not work for this move.
