Jennifer has been in the real estate business for more than 15 years and is the Managing Broker for Lighthouse Realty, LLC in Crown Point, which she founded in 2016. Over the years, Jennifer has proven her commitment to the local, state, and national associations and the leadership process.
At the local level, she currently serves as the MLS of GNIAR President and is the first African-American woman to hold the position. Jennifer is also Chair of the MLS Rules and Regulations Committee and sits on the MLS Hearing Panel, Governance Committee, Member Involvement Committee, and MLS/GNIAR Technology Committee. In 2020 she served as Chair of the Social Events/Member Involvement Committee and Co-Chair of the Finance Committee.
Her state involvement includes serving on the Indiana Association of REALTORS Professional Standards Committee and she is a 2018 Graduate of the Indiana Association of REALTOR Leadership Academy.
She is currently Vice President of the Indiana Association of Realtors Board of Directors, and on the National level, she is a member of NAR’s Broker Engagement committee and local Federal Political Coordinator to Senator Mrvan
Jennifer has earned the respect of this region due to her extraordinary dedication and professionalism in previous years, she has served as a Treasurer on the MLS Board of Directors, served as Chair of the Social Events/Member Involvement Committee, Co-Chair of the Finance Committee, GNIAR Election Committee member, Vice Chair of the GNIAR member Involvement Committee, RPAC Campaign Committee member.
Jennifer is a graduate of Indiana Wesleyan University and has resided in NWIN for the majority of her life. Born and raised in Gary, IN, her goal is to promote healthy home ownership and real estate investment to everyone regardless of price point or station in life. She truly believes you can have “Luxury at every level of life.”
Personally, she is a former children’s minister and tries to leave encouragement wherever she goes. She believes that God places her in people’s lives for an ordained season and it is best to leave it better than you found it.
