If we could put more than 5 stars here, my husband and I would! The Thornett+Corder Team of Micah, Jennifer and Julia are outstanding in every way. Their areas of expertise are vast and on point, and their diligence is ceaseless. Thornett + Corder is an A+ team and they provided great client service as I navigated the sale of a property during a not so ideal market (end of 2022/beginning of 2023). Most importantly, they got it sold! Jennifer, Micah and Julia were responsive, communicative, and had a great process as a team. I communicated most regularly with Micah on a day-to-day basis, and he provided practical advice, was always responsive, and it was very clear that he really cared about client service. He was always willing to help and wanted to make sure everything went as smoothly as possible (and was consistent in that approach throughout the process). The Thornett + Corder team has definitely set the bar higher, and they will be top of mind whenever I am thinking of buying/selling a property or if anyone asks for a recommendation.

Thornett + Corder is a first-rate operation, and my husband, John, and I enthusiastically recommend them. Jenny, Micah, Julia, and the team are highly knowledgeable, responsive, and professional. Likely because their results speak for themselves, they are no-nonsense, refraining from over-marketing and "realtor-speak," and that builds the sort of trust that is important in buying real estate. From the time we first met them by videoconference, they understood us and what we were looking for. That was clear when they quickly found a house that was not yet on the market and told us that we should see it, because it was what we were looking for. They were spot on -- and we now own the house. And even still, they are helping us as we move to a new city.

My wife and I worked with Micah Corder and the wonderful team at Washington Fine Properties to find our “forever home” after he was recommended by a close friend. It’s important to note that we had a laundry list of non-negotiables and we are extremely particular, so our home search spanned the course of two years and over 20 houses before we found our new home! There wasn’t a single moment throughout the entire two-year search process where Micah tried to push us or sway us in any direction other than getting us exactly what we wanted! Micah exhibited excellent work habits and consistently demonstrated professional judgment in his role and he also has incredible attention to detail.

I am a Partner and tax advisor at a global CPA/accounting/advisory firm and live/operate in a business where world class client service is my highest priority and delivering that daily to our clients is what I pride myself in. I’m only giving you that background because it’s very rare for me to feel like I’m getting the kind of client experience from service providers that I bring forth to my clients every day. However, Micah and his team undoubtedly exceeded those expectations! My wife and I were blown away by the NEXT LEVEL professionalism, patience, guidance and first-rate responsiveness that we were blessed to get from Micah and the Washington Fine Properties team!

I just sold my home in McLean and the team of Thornett and Corder were excellent. It was a tough transaction with some difficult and unexpected obstacles along the way, but because of their industry knowledge and expertise, homed over 20 years in the business, the deal closed. They recommended other industry specialists when I needed them, and they too were excellent. Those industry specialists had a high regard for Thornett + Corder which helped in dealing with the situation. The team was very responsive during the clutch times and went way above and beyond any other realtor team I have used in the past. I especially appreciated their honesty and forthright evaluation of the decisions I faced. I felt I had truthful and practical input which was crucial as the situation unfolded. I highly recommend!
